A Mein Schiff Agadir call is one of the longest port days in our calendar: Mein Schiff 3, 7 and Relax typically stay from 08:00 to 22:00, and Mein Schiff Flow from 07:00 to 22:00. With twelve or more usable hours you can fit a sunset dinner, a beach horse ride or even two separate outings. This guide covers where the ship docks, what to carry, how the timing works and three day plans that fit.
Mein Schiff Agadir: which ships and when
TUI Cruises is the line with the most Agadir calls in our current winter calendar, and Mein Schiff 7 is the most frequent visitor. Typical hours:

Where does Mein Schiff dock in Agadir?
Like every cruise ship, Mein Schiff berths inside the commercial port at the northern end of the bay. It is a working harbour, so you cannot stroll around the quays; you leave through the cruise terminal gate, where taxis, tour drivers and on many calls the ship's shuttle wait. The port authority assigns berths at short notice, so the exact quay can change from one call to the next, even for the same ship. The exit does not change. Everyone uses the same gate, and that is where our driver waits with a sign showing your name.
Allow about 30 minutes from the moment the ship is alongside to reaching the gate. On a busy morning, with most of the ship heading for the gangway at once, it can take longer. Our Agadir port guide explains the layout and the options at the gate.
Do I need my passport ashore?
You need two things to get back into the port: your Mein Schiff cruise card and the photo ID that TUI Cruises asks you to carry. Rules vary by ship and sometimes by call, so follow the instructions in the daily programme for Agadir. If it says passport, take the passport. Keep both in a zipped pocket or a small bag you wear across your body; Agadir is a relaxed resort city, but the usual care with phones and bags in crowds applies.
How the timing works on a 08:00-22:00 call
Our site uses the same rules for every ship:
- Earliest pickup is arrival plus 30 minutes: 08:30 on Mein Schiff 3, 7 and Relax, 07:30 on Flow.
- TUI Cruises does not publish all-aboard times in our data, so we assume 30 minutes before departure: 21:30.
- We plan to have you back at the terminal 60 minutes before all-aboard: 20:30.
- A ride's "back" time is start plus its full listed duration plus 30 minutes' drive.
That leaves twelve usable hours (thirteen on Flow). The evening before, read the real all-aboard time in your daily programme. If it is earlier than 21:30, the latest starts may no longer fit, and the call page will tell you which.

The Berber dinner is the one most guests ask about. After a 25-minute drive to the Souss River you ride at sunset for about an hour and a quarter, with photo stops, then transfer about 20 minutes to Kasbat Souss for couscous, barbecue and dessert with live Gnaoua music. Water is included; other drinks are extra. The group is capped at 15.
One ride does not fit: the 17:05 sunset start of the camel ride with BBQ dinner. It would bring you back at 20:35, five minutes over our margin. Its 10:05, 12:05 and 14:05 starts do fit, as daytime rides with the meal. Our sunset and BBQ guide compares all the evening options.
Two starts sit right on the margin: the 16:00 Berber dinner and the 16:00 quad bike and camel ride both bring you back at 20:30. That still leaves the full hour before the assumed all-aboard, but no spare minutes on top. If you like a cushion, choose the 14:00 quad start or the 15:00 Timlalin trip instead, both back by 19:30 at the latest.

Three day plans for Mein Schiff guests
1. Quad in the morning, dinner in the evening (Mein Schiff 7, Relax or 3). Take the 09:00 quad bike and camel ride: a safety briefing and practice on an automatic quad, a camel ride across the sand, and mint tea in a Berber tent. You are back at the terminal by 13:30. Rest, eat lunch on board, then meet the driver again at 16:00 for the Berber dinner. Drop-off is at 20:30, an hour before the assumed all-aboard. Note that the quad is not suitable for pregnant women or anyone with back problems.
2. Town in the morning, horses in the afternoon. Spend the morning near the port: the Kasbah hill (Agadir Oufella) above the harbour has views over the whole bay and can be reached by road or by cable car from the city. Back on board for lunch, then the 15:00 Tamri horse ride along the coast past Aghroud, back at 19:30. You still have two hours before the assumed all-aboard.
3. Early start on Mein Schiff Flow. Flow's 07:00 arrival makes 08:00 pickups possible. Take the 08:00 Timlalin dunes trip: a coastal drive past Taghazout's surf spots, a canyon visit, a sandboarding lesson and a camel ride, back by 12:30. If you still have energy, the 16:00 Berber dinner fits the same day. Flow also allows an 08:00 start for the quad and camel ride, and for the private Taroudant half-day trip.

Small things that help
- Save our WhatsApp number before you go ashore and keep your phone charged. The exact meeting point at the gate arrives by WhatsApp the day before.
- Morocco is outside the EU, so EU roaming rules do not apply. Check your tariff.
- The ride is paid online; carry a few dirhams for tips, drinks or a souvenir.
- In winter, Agadir is usually an hour ahead of the Canary Islands. Go by the time Mein Schiff announces on board.
