Swap the beach for one of southern Morocco's most atmospheric old towns. This private half-day trip takes you through the Souss Valley to Taroudant, a historic town wrapped in earthen ramparts and often called Little Marrakech. On the way, stop in the argan countryside to look for goats climbing in the branches, where they feed on the fruit. They are not always there, but the stop is a good chance to see the distinctive argan trees and take photos. In Taroudant, admire the old walls and traditional gateways, then step into the medina. Narrow lanes lead to busy souks selling spices, pottery, leather goods and local crafts. Take your time to browse, shop and watch everyday life in the old town before the drive back to Agadir. Good to know: this is a private trip for your own group of up to 4 people. The price shown is per person, based on 2 travellers.
